We are a friendly infant school which serves our community in the market town of Diss. We have a purpose build nursery which offers provision 9 -12 for children aged 3-4 years old. We have 4 classes in the main building, with 2 small reception classes. We have a strong caring focus with a dedicated pastoral staff team. We work in close partnership with Diss Church of England Junior Academy, less than 5 minutes walk away. We offer a broad and balanced thematic curriculum. Scole Church of England Primary Academy is also part of our partnership
At Diss we
love to read and promote reading at the heart of our curriculum. All of our children enjoy being read to every day as part of their diet of high quality English teaching, including the opportunity to experience a wide range of high quality literature - please see our Reading page for more information.
Our Early Years classrooms have open plan themed areas with a large dedicated outside space. Our experienced Early Year leader ensures a child centred creative approach to the new Early Years curriculum. If you interested about finding out more please contact the school office.
